Happy Fall Equinox and Full Moon! Yesterday marked the Fall Equinox, the moment when light and darkness are equal, welcoming us into a new season. I spent the evening joyfully singing, dancing, and celebrating with friends at an outdoor concert beneath the nearly full moon.
Earlier in the day, I had been feeling grouchy for no apparent reason and I encountered others who were feeling the same. As the day unfolded and we connected, we realized we were standing on the precipice of change. Change can feel out of our control. There can be a strong desire to know what’s coming and to have certainty, when what we are really being asked to do is let go. Then the sweetest thing happens. In a moment, our feelings can shift as we embrace life, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Fall season represents transformation, preservation, and a natural deceleration as the Earth transitions from the high energy of summer to the stillness of winter. This is symbolic for us as well. It is a time to reflect on our inner harvest, celebrate our growth and accomplishments, release old habits and relationships, and slow down and turn inward. By doing so, we cultivate and preserve our energy for the darker months ahead.
At Wonderworks Healing Arts, I love working with people and have the honor of witnessing their unique processes unfold and healing takes place. They may walk into my office feeling one way and walk out feeling completely different, reconnected with themselves through gentle acupuncture, energy healing, and Chinese herbal medicine.
I’m also deeply honored to share that Wonderworks Healing Arts was awarded five Gold awards in the Best of La Jolla awards! I’m so grateful for the recognition and for everyone who has supported my practice and trusted me with their healing journey.
If you’re feeling rundown, in need of an immune boost, stressed, in pain, anxious, or simply wanting to feel better, come in and see me. I’m happy to help!
Happy Autumn! May you enjoy this season of abundance, gratitude, transformation, and blessings. Much love, Amorah.
